Job summary

Aurora Health Care Metro, Inc. seeks an MRI Technologist to join St Luke's MRI team. The role offers a four-day workweek, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities include operating MR equipment, acquiring diagnostic images across musculoskeletal, neuro, body, and specialty exams, ensuring patient safety, preparing contrast media, and maintaining accurate records and billing codes in the RIS.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school includes an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MR equipment to perform diagnostic exams including MSK, neuro, and body imaging.
• Obtains patient history, verifies orders, and administers contrast under Radiologist supervision.
• Positions patients, sets scanning parameters, and ensures image quality and safety.
• Post-processes images and labels with patient details in the RIS.
• Maintains records and documents billing codes for correct charges.
• Identifies equipment issues and performs QA tests.
• Assists with patient positioning and transfers, following safety practices.
• Delivers age-appropriate care and clear communication.
