Job summary

St Luke's MRI team is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate advanced MR equipment, perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires knowledge of anatomy and safety, with opportunities to work across multiple imaging modalities.

The position offers standard four-day weeks, on-site work, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Training will be provided to the right candidate, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• No experience required.
• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and magnetic safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment to perform diagnostic procedures across MSK, neuro, body and specialty imaging.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and administer contrast under Radiologist guidance.
• Position patients, select scanning factors, and ensure image quality and safety.
• Post-process images and accurately label studies with patient identifiers and location.
• Maintain records and document billing codes; input data into the radiology system.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA tests; report malfunctions and evaluate new products.
• Assist with patient handling and lifting as needed, following safety procedures.
• Adhere to age-specific care and hospital policies as required.
