Job summary

St Luke's MRI team is seeking a technologist to operate MR equipment across diverse studies including Cardiac, Neuro, Body and MSK exams. The role requires patient history intake, order verification, and contrast administration under Radiologist direction.

Responsibilities include image acquisition, positioning, safety adherence, post-processing, and data entry into the RIS system. Training, benefits on day one, and a $3,000 sign-on are offered to suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• MRI certifications (CAMRT/ARMRIT/ARRT) or RT registration with MRI needed within 2 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment for basic to intermediate diagnostic procedures including MSK, neuro, body, and small joint imaging.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and administer contrast under Radiologist supervision.
• Position patients, select scanning factors, ensure image quality and safety; perform post-processing as directed.
• Enter patient/study data in RIS and document billing codes for charges.
• Conduct QA tests, report malfunctions, and evaluate new equipment.
• Assist with patient transfer and moving, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintain age-appropriate care.
