Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under the direct guidance of the Radiologist. You will image anatomically and physiologically to aid in diagnosis, following prescribed standards and patient safety protocols.

You will provide patient care to all ages—neonatal to geriatric—while maintaining imaging quality, preparing equipment, and ensuring comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric.
• Prepare and operate MRI equipment and position patients as required.

MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
