Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role includes patient positioning, safety checks, and image quality assurance throughout the scan process.

You will care for patients across neonatal to geriatric ages, ensuring comfort and safety while upholding hospital standards in a fast-paced radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS and ARDMS/ARRT radiographer registration upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
