Job summary

RadNet in Silver Spring, MD is seeking an In Suite Assistant 1 to support MRI safety, patient care, and workflow in a busy imaging suite. You will assist MRI technologists, help with coil setup, patient screening, and prep, while safeguarding patient information and property.

Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience in a medical setting or completion of an MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in a medical setting helps deliver safe patient care.
• BLS certification demonstrates readiness for clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist and radiology staff for MRI safety.
• Convey patient history to MRI team for accurate safety, screening and observation.
• Assist with coil setup, schedule maintenance, and cleanup of MRI suite.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
