Job summary

University of Washington Medical Center – Northwest is seeking an MRI Level II-trained Radiology Technical Assistant. You will prepare patients, transport and position them for imaging, and assist technologists during exams in a night-shift, full-time role.

Responsibilities include room setup, cleaning, stocking supplies, and ensuring smooth workflow within the Radiology department. Prior patient care experience and CPR/BLS within 90 days are preferred; MRI Level II training highly desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; patient care experience preferred.
• MRI Level II training is highly desirable.
• CPR/BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire; CNA WA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for diagnostic examinations and assist technologists with positioning.
• Transport patients safely and assist with transfers during exams.
• Operate imaging equipment under supervision and report equipment issues.
• Assist with processing images and maintaining exam rooms and supplies.
• Support customer service, patient flow, and department workflows.
