Job summary

RadNet is seeking an In Suite Assistant 1 to support MRI safety and patient care in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will work with MRI technologists, radiologists, and staff to ensure accurate history, proper coil setup, and smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, safeguarding patient information and medications, and maintaining professional conduct. A high school diploma and BLS are required, with MRI assistant program completion preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • At least one year experience in medical setting.
  • Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to assist in lifting patients onto table.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and staff to ensure MRI safety and patient care.
  • Convey patient history to MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety and observation.
  • Assist with coil setup, scheduling, and cleanup of MRI suite.
  • Safeguard patient properties and Health Information on site.
  • Safeguard medications on site per policy and legal requirements.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with the team.
