Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging for diagnostic procedures. The role involves operating MRI equipment, ensuring appropriate technical factors, and communicating with physicians for interpretation.

You will also assist with inventory and scheduling and may participate in after-hours call coverage. Qualified candidates will have an accredited Radiology Technologist program completion with MRI training and ARRT registration, along with BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program with MRI Training.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with MRI procedures and radiology standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing MRI procedures and relay images with clinical information.
• Operate MRI equipment and set appropriate technical factors for diagnostic quality images.
• Assist with inventory management and patient scheduling.
• Take backup call to provide after-hours coverage.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Provides care for patients requiring MRI procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing MRI for diagnostic procedures. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes backup call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program. Completion of MRI Training
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program. Completion of MRI Training
