Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join its diagnostic imaging team in Gainesville. You will perform MRI procedures, operate equipment, and relay images with clinical information to the physician for interpretation.

Responsibilities include inventory management, patient scheduling, and occasional after-hours call coverage. The hospital emphasizes safety and compliance with Joint Commission standards and state/federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• MRI must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program. Completion of MRI Training
• 6 months of related experience is required

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients requiring MRI procedures.
• Operates MRI equipment and sets appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images.
• Relays images and pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation.
• Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling.
• Takes backup call as assigned to provide after-hours high-volume coverage.
• Promote safety culture and adhere to policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:
