Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MR imaging per established procedures and ensure high-quality image capture and documentation. You will follow safety guidelines and assist with patient care within the imaging department, keeping accurate records and supporting the clinical team.

The role requires ARMRIT/ARRT MR credentials, BCLS on hire, and a minimum of ARRT Radiologic Technology training.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT acceptance is required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification on hire and must remain current.
• Graduate of ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR imaging in accordance with established procedures and policies.
• Access and manage pertinent patient information and ensure correct image capture and documentation.
• Process and file MRI exams, ensuring accurate billing and records in the department system.
• Support the clinical team when not engaged in imaging activities.

Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist is responsible for the performance of all aspects of MR imaging, accurately and in accordance with established procedures and policies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all groups. Follows all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions. Maintains professional standards of conduct an ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processes images, assures correct images, accurate billing and file documentation, records information related to exams into department computer system. Performs other activities in support of clinical team members when not engaged in imaging activities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and remain current.
• Must be a graduate of a ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist Preferred.

Pay Transparency

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $44.80. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
