RadNet is seeking a Technical Assistant for MRI to join our imaging team in Port Saint Lucie, FL. You will assist MRI technologists, prepare patients, position them, and help maintain a clean, safe MRI suite while ensuring patient comfort and accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, safety, and teamwork across the imaging center. A high school diploma, 1 year of medical setting experience, and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
• Proficient medical terminology knowledge.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with MRI technologists and patients in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate patient medical history with MRI safety and record them in the patient’s chart or EMR.
• Travel/cover as needed within outpatient settings to support MRI department.
• Prepare, set up, position, and monitor patients in MRI suite with technologists.
• Maintain supply levels and restock following site procedures.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and safety protocols in all interactions.
