Job summary

RadNet is hiring an In Suite Assistant 1 to join our imaging team in California. You will assist MRI staff and physicians to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care and coordinate with administrative staff to streamline MRI workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an MR Technologist Assistant program, and BLS certification. You will handle patient information securely and support in keeping the MRI suite operating smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• BLS certification required or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and staff to ensure MRI safety and patient care.
• Transmit patient history to MRI Technologist for safe MRI procedures and monitor patient during exams.
• Support technologists with coil setup, schedule maintenance and cleanup of MRI suite.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information; handle medications per policy and law.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient privacy.
