Job summary

RadNet in Carmel, IN is seeking an In Suite Assistant 1 to support MRI teams across Carmel, Avon, and Greenwood, ensuring safety and patient care in a fast-paced imaging setting.

You will assist MRI technologists and radiologists with coil setup, patient screening, and safety procedures, while safeguarding patient information and property.

This role offers hands-on training, cross-location collaboration, and opportunities to grow within RadNet's patient-centered radiology network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• At least one year experience in medical setting.
• Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and staff to ensure MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety and screening.
• Set up coils, assist with schedule maintenance, and clean-up of MRI suite.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information on site.
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and respect for patients and coworkers.
