Job summary

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT MR or RT license required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification preferred.
• 5+ years MRI experience preferred.
• 2+ years leadership experience within MRI or medical imaging services preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable clinical/imaging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of MRI services, coordinating staffing, workflow, and resources for safe, efficient patient care.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and evaluate MRI staff, establishing expectations and fostering teamwork, accountability, engagement, and development.
• Serve as MR Safety Officer (MRSO) and support MRI safety practices, policies, education, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate patient care with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff and the healthcare team to promote efficient care and positive outcomes.
• Lead the resolution of complex operational issues, patient concerns, and service-related challenges.
• Support equipment quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring regulatory/ accreditation compliance.
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to improve workflows, expand access, and strengthen patient and employee experience.
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service across MRI operations.
