Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an MRI Radiology Tech Aide for part-time weekend coverage in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. The role supports diagnostic imaging by assisting technologists and radiologists, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position requires high school completion, BLS certification, and prior hospital radiology exposure. Weekend shifts run Saturdays and Sundays with daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with imaging exam preparation and identification.
• Support technologists during procedures and prepare exam rooms.
• Clean and restock imaging rooms between patients.
• Monitor inventory of linens, supplies and equipment.
• Answer phones and relay messages between departments.
• Escort and transport patients to imaging areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
