AdventHealth in Shawnee, KS is seeking an MRI Radiology Tech Aide for part-time weekend shifts at Prairie Star location. You will support diagnostic imaging by assisting technologists and radiologists, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and helping maintain efficient workflow in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment setup, room cleaning, inventory maintenance, and interdepartmental communication to ensure quality imaging services and patient

Responsabilités

• Assists patients with preparation for imaging exams, including changing attire and ID verification under supervision.
• Supports technologists during procedures by positioning patients, moving equipment, or preparing exam rooms as directed.
• Cleans and restocks imaging rooms between patients, ensuring cleanliness and infection control.
• Maintains inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment, notifying staff when items are low.
• Answers phones, relays messages, and facilitates communication between staff to support workflow.
• Greets, escorts, and transports patients to imaging areas safely and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

MRI Radiology Tech Aide, Part-Time Weekends

Location: Prairie Star

Responsible for supporting diagnostic imaging operations by assisting technologists and radiologists in the preparation and care of patients undergoing imaging procedures. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and supporting high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Work Hours/Shifts

Part-Time Weekends

Saturday and Sunday, 6:30am-7:00pm

24 hours/week

Job Responsibilities

• Assists patients with preparation for imaging exams, including changing into appropriate attire and verifying identification under supervision.
• Supports technologists during procedures by positioning patients, moving equipment, or preparing exam rooms as directed.
• Cleans and restocks imaging rooms between patients, ensuring cleanliness, infection control compliance, and readiness for next exam.
• Maintains adequate inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment, alerting appropriate staff when items are low.
• Answers phones, relays messages, and assists with communication between technologists, nursing, and other departments to support efficient workflow.
• Greets, escorts, and transports patients to and from imaging areas, ensuring safety, comfort, and timely movement throughout the department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ experience in hospital setting in radiology [Preferred]
