Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Aide - Transporter at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. The role involves escorting or transporting patients, ensuring safety, and supporting imaging workflows within the facility.

Responsibilities include patient identification, informing destinations, and moving patients with appropriate assistance. BLS within 60 days is required; high school diploma or equivalent is expected. On-call or float duties may be required depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training.
• Obtain BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsabilités

• Determines identity by two identifiers (e.g., name, birth date).
• Informs patient/family of destination, travel mode, time, and data per instructions.
• Directs escorts from admitting to designated area.
• Assists patient in walking or ambulating with wheelchair as needed.
• Transports patient within facility using bed, cart, or wheelchair.
• Files and/or retrieves X-Ray folders as needed.
• Practices safety and radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Participates in quality assurance and patient satisfaction reviews.
• Engages in ongoing education to maintain competency.
• Promotes Intermountain Health mission, values, and service standards.
• May float to other departments as needed; on-call may be required.
