DCH Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist Assistant to support MRI staff under supervision. This role focuses on patient safety, assisting with transfers, room upkeep, and operating essential software systems.

The candidate will participate in direct patient care and ensure a safe, efficient imaging environment. Responsibilities include maintaining exam rooms, assisting with safety questionnaires, and responding to emergencies in the MRI suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions.
• BLS certification required.
• Extensive understanding of patient care.

Responsabilités

• Assists staff with transferring patients safely to and from exam table.
• Maintains exam room supply levels and cleanliness.
• Maintains imaging room and control room cleanliness for a positive patient experience.
• Operates software systems required for patient care and business operations.
• Reports safety concerns to supervisory personnel.
• Completes initial patient safety interview for MRI safety questionnaires.
• Ensures safety in the high magnetic field environment.
• Demonstrates ability to respond to quench situations.
• Maintains ongoing competency and attends as required.
• Regular attendance to perform essential duties.
