Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking an MRI Supervisor for Alton Memorial Hospital to lead the MRI department. The role focuses on scheduling, staff coaching, budgeting, and ensuring efficient workflow to deliver high-quality patient imaging services.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of leadership experience, an MR certification, and at least an associate degree in radiology. The supervisor will oversee daily operations and support staff development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or trade school equivalency (or higher level of education).
• MR Certification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Some leadership, charge, or supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance; develops staff.
• Monitors and organizes department resources to maximize productivity and ensure patient outcomes.
• Serves as liaison between staff and physicians.
• Evaluates care and testing to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• May participate in budgeting for staffing, revenue and expenses.
