Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an MRI Technologist with strong leadership to perform MRI procedures and enforce safety and quality standards. The role includes mentoring staff, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring regulatory compliance across imaging services.

Qualifications include ARRT MR certification and an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with CPR and background clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise MRI imaging procedures with independence.
• Plan staffing, direct daily operations, and manage department policies.
• Mentor staff and optimize performance through training.
• Maintain quality assurance programs per regulatory standards.
• Coordinate patient safety and radiation/protocol adherence.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA.
