Loyola Medicine-MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL is seeking an MRI Lead Technologist to coordinate and mentor the MRI team, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency. This full-time, day-shift role reports to the Manager of Medical Imaging Services and requires ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification, CPR, and an Associate’s degree with AAS in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, clinical leadership, and program growth within a state-of-the-art MRI

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required (AAS in Radiologic Technology).
• MRI Technologist Certification; ARRT MRI or ARMRIT.
• AHA CPR Certification.

About the Job

The MRI Lead Technologist is responsible for coordinating, directing, and supporting the daily operations of MRI services to ensure high-quality patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency. Working collaboratively with the Manager of Medical Imaging Services and Radiologists, this role oversees staff scheduling, workflow management, and operational excellence within the MRI department. The MRI Lead Technologist serves as a clinical resource and mentor, providing leadership, guidance, and support to MRI staff while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and service.

Minimum Education

• Associate’s Degree
  • AAS in Radiologic Technology required

Required Licensure & Certifications

• MRI Technologist Certification
• (ARRT MRI or ARMRIT – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
• AHA CPR Certification
  (American Heart Association – CPR only)

Pay Range: $35.89 - 62.91 USD Hourly
