Loyola Medicine is seeking an MRI Lead Technologist (Days) to coordinate and mentor the MRI team at our Berwyn, IL campus. This full-time role supports daily operations, ensures safety and efficient workflow, and collaborates with radiologists and management to maintain high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will lead scheduling, guide staff, and uphold exceptional patient services in a state-of-the-art MRI environment, with weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities.Competitive

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• MRI Technologist Certification required.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification preferred.
• CPR certification required (AHA CPR).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and support daily MRI operations to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
• Oversee staff scheduling and workflow management within the MRI department.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to MRI staff while maintaining standards of care.

About the Job

The MRI Lead Technologist is responsible for coordinating, directing, and supporting the daily operations of MRI services to ensure high-quality patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency. Working collaboratively with the Manager of Medical Imaging Services and Radiologists, this role oversees staff scheduling, workflow management, and operational excellence within the MRI department. The MRI Lead Technologist serves as a clinical resource and mentor, providing leadership, guidance, and support to MRI staff while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and service.

Minimum Education

• Associate’s Degree
  • AAS in Radiologic Technology required

Required Licensure & Certifications

• MRI Technologist Certification
• (ARRT MRI or ARMRIT – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
• AHA CPR Certification
  (American Heart Association – CPR only)

Pay Range: $35.89 - 62.91 USD Hourly

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
