Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service, caregiving, or direct interaction with individuals preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EHR and imaging software with training.
• Preferred: CNA/MA/EMT or enrollment in a healthcare-related training program.
• Preferred: at least 6 months in healthcare or patient-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care under supervision, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures, delays, and expectations.
• Verify patient identity and confirm the ordered exam.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams, including positioning and transfers.
• Perform delegated clinical tasks (venipuncture, POCT, MRI screening).
• Monitor patient status and escalate concerns as needed.
• Assist with patient transport and department workflow.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment; review patient information.
• Document patient data in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems.
• Ensure specimens are labeled and delivered to the lab when applicable.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized care environment; follow infection control.
