Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an Imaging Support Aide to assist patients preparing for imaging exams under supervision. You will help technologists by positioning patients, moving equipment, and preparing exam rooms.

You’ll keep imaging areas clean, stocked, and ready for the next patient while supporting effective communication across departments. Responsibilities include greeting and transporting patients, answering calls, and ensuring safe, timely movements within radiology.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv.
• 1+ experience in hospital radiology (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with imaging prep and ID under supervision.
• Support technologists by positioning patients and preparing rooms.
• Clean and restock imaging rooms between patients and maintain infection control.
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies and equipment and flag low items.
• Answer phones and relay messages to staff to support workflow.
• Greet, escort and transport patients to imaging areas ensuring safety and comfort.
