Job summary

01 ETCH East Tennessee Children's Hospital Association, Inc. seeks an MRI Technologist to perform a variety of MRI procedures using high-energy magnetic fields for accurate diagnosis and delineation of anatomy. Reports to the Director of Radiology.

The role requires ARRT registration, with MRI certification preferred. A minimum of 1 year radiology experience is expected; 3–5 years with 2 years MRI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Health Science program.
• ARRT registration required; MRI certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year general radiology experience; 3–5 years general radiology experience or equivalent with 2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and auxiliary equipment to produce quality images.
• Follow safety procedures and ALARA principles; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Provide excellent patient care and create a respectful environment for customers.
• Consult with radiologists to adjust scanning parameters and ensure accurate results.
• Demonstrate MRI safety across zones and participate in safety trainings.
