Job summary

East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures in Knoxville, TN. The role requires ARRT registration with MRI certification preferred and candidates with 1 year of radiology experience; 3–5 years MRI experience is preferred.

The technologist will operate the MRI scanner, ensure safety and image quality, and collaborate with radiologists while maintaining patient comfort and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Health Science program.
• ARRT registration required; MRI certification preferred.
• 1 year general radiology experience required; 3–5 years with MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and auxiliary equipment to produce quality images.
• Follow QA, safety, and ALARA guidelines; perform daily QC.
• Use PACS/Meditech for data entry and patient tracking; complete safety reports.
