Job summary

East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to perform MRI procedures with high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety. The role requires ARRT registration, MRI certification preferred, and 1 year radiology experience; 3-5 years with MRI preferred.

You will work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, participate in safety, QC, PACS/Meditech workflows, and provide compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered; MRI certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year general radiology experience; 3-5 years with MRI preferred.
• Ability to work alternate shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and auxiliary equipment to produce quality images.
• Maintain patient safety and MRI safety protocols.
• Adhere to PACS workflow and Meditech orders.
• Provide patient care, explain procedures, and address questions.
• Participate in quality control and equipment maintenance.
