Houston Methodist is hiring an EMT/Paramedic for the Imaging Department. You will support patient care, perform EKGs, and collect labs under nurse/provider supervision. You’ll operate within a 12‑hour shift pattern on a two‑week matrix schedule in the MRI suite.

The role requires EMT-Paramedic credentials or active EMT-Advanced, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and a commitment to patient/family centered care in a non-exempt, full-time position.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EMT-A, EMT-Paramedic program or licensed Paramedic, or currently in EMT-to-Paramedic program.

• Assist in patient care and services in Imaging Department.
• Perform EKGs and collect lab specimens under supervision.
• Document vital signs, observations, and care in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and patients to ensure safety and quality care.
