Job summary

The position is non-exempt with matrix scheduling including 3-13 hour shifts in Week 1 and 4-10s in Week 2, highlighting flexibility and commitment to staff coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EMT-Paramedic credential or active program enrollment preferred.
• Six months pre-hospital or hospital experience as EMT/Paramedic; ability to perform basic EKG interpretation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to document accurately in electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care and services to diverse patient populations under supervision.
• Perform EKGs and collect lab specimens; conduct hourly rounds per policy.
• Communicate observations to licensed nurse/provider; adhere to Patient and Family Centered Care standards.
• Utilize Epic and Microsoft Office to maintain patient information and records.
