LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI/MRA procedures with independence, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The role includes reviewing orders with radiologists, administering contrast, maintaining equipment, and adhering to QC programs.

The successful candidate will show strong clinical judgment, excellent patient interaction, and commitment to procedural standards in a fast-paced radiology department.

Formación

• Provides clinical MRI/MRA services per radiology standards.
• Explains procedures to patients to ease anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Maintains equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat, safe condition.
• Performs safety practices and sterile technique during procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews physician orders with radiologist to ensure proper examination and diagnostic results.
• Maintains data entry in PACS/RIS and files.
• Responds to critical test findings and follows up.

Educación

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (CPR, BLS)

ARMRIT or ARRT registry

MRI Certification within 2 years of hire
