Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Full-Time MRI Float Technologist to cover shifts across Anderson, Monroe, Warren, Easton and nearby East Region MRI outpatient facilities. You will perform MRI exams, ensure image quality and accuracy, and communicate findings to radiologists.

Graduate from an ARRT-recognized program (or ARRT/ARMRIT registered). Advanced MRI registry is required within 1 year of hire, with 2 years’ staff technologist experience preferred and BLS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT/ARMRIT registered or registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred; 1 year MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients per department procedures under supervision.
• Maintain technical continuity of care and communicate findings to radiologists.
• Demonstrate venipuncture competency for contrast administration.
• Adhere to safety and downtime procedures and ensure accurate data in PACS.
• Participate in quality assurance/performance improvement programs and ongoing education.
