Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of radiologic technology experience within the last 12 months, including one (1) year MRI experience.
May substitute one (1) year MRI experience with the department's formal MRI training program.

Responsibilities

Upholds Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
Maintain professional behavior toward members and coworkers.
Provide training and orientation to new MRI technologists and assist others as needed.
Perform MRI studies according to established protocols and image quality standards.
Ensure patient safety and proper identification of imaging data.
Archive images to PACS and document clinical activities timely and accurately.
Complete requisitions with required information and comply with continuing education standards.
