Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-quality MR images across diagnostic protocols. The role includes operating MRI equipment, adjusting parameters, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities also include training staff, maintaining equipment, and accurately documenting procedures while archiving images to PACS for physician review. Three years MRI experience and ARRT MR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of radiologic experience with MRI in the last 12 months.
• Graduation from a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification in MRI and Venipuncture/BLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment and protocols to produce diagnostic images.
• Provides training and orientation to MRI staff.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintains equipment, supplies and works area per department guidelines.
• Archives images to PACS and documents clinical activity accurately.
