Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club, TX is hiring a MRI/CT/X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under radiologists and to assist with interventional procedures.

The role requires ARRT registration, Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist license, and BLS. Two to five years of routine imaging and OR experience is preferred. Flexible schedule with on-call obligations and a $10,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA–approved school of Radiologic Technology (AART).
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic procedures using X-ray and fluoroscopy under radiologists and physicians.
• Assists radiologists with interventional procedures in the department and OR.
• Maintains aseptic technique within sterile fields.
• Operates radiology equipment safely and follows radiation safety protocols; processes images via PACS.
• Proficient in routine diagnostic radiology exams and portable C-Arm in OR settings.
• Must have flexible schedule and be available for on-call, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

MRI/CT/X-ray Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Trophy Club:

• Under the direction of radiologists and specialized physicians performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.

• Assists radiologist and specialized physicians with interventional procedures performed within the department and OR.

• Practices proper aseptic technique within the sterile field.

• Operates Radiology equipment safely and practices proper radiation safety techniques at all times, prints films and processes images via PACS and CR.

• Must be proficient in performing routine diagnostic radiology exams using X-Rays and Fluoroscopy.

• Must be proficient with routine portable exams and the safe operation of C-Arm equipment within the Operating room.

• Requires flexible schedule and ability to take department call after hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology (AART)

Licensure/Certification:

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License

• Current BLS certification

Required Experience:

• Two to five years' experience specific in Routine imaging and operating room
