Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club in Trophy Club, TX is hiring an MRI/CT/X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures under radiologist supervision and support interventional cases. The position requires ARRT registration, Texas licensure, and a current BLS.

Two to five years in radiology and OR experience are preferred, with a flexible schedule including on-call, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology (AART).
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two to five years' experience in Routine imaging and operating room.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic procedures under radiologists and physicians.
• Assist radiologists with interventional procedures in the department and OR.
• Maintain aseptic technique within sterile fields.
• Operate radiology equipment safely and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Print films and process images via PACS and CR.
• Perform routine diagnostic radiology exams using X-rays and fluoroscopy.
• Handle portable exams and C-Arm operation in the operating room.

MRI/CT/X-ray Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Trophy Club:

• Under the direction of radiologists and specialized physicians performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assists radiologist and specialized physicians with interventional procedures performed within the department and OR.
• Practices proper aseptic technique within the sterile field.
• Operates Radiology equipment safely and practices proper radiation safety techniques at all times, prints films and processes images via PACS and CR.
• Must be proficient in performing routine diagnostic radiology exams using X-Rays and Fluoroscopy.
• Must be proficient with routine portable exams and the safe operation of C-Arm equipment within the Operating room.
• Requires flexible schedule and ability to take department call after hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology (AART)

Licensure/Certification:

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License
• Current BLS certification
