Job description

**Responsibilities**

The MR/CT Technologist position is responsible for understanding their professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code. They must satisfactorily complete the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation, demonstrating skills and behaviors that meet a fully competent level of performance. MR/CT Technologists maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, performing patient care services that support the physician/provider's practice under the supervision of radiologists, licensed staff, and management. Responsibilities include preparing patients for MR/CT examinations, relaying instructions from radiologists, collecting and documenting patient data and concerns, and performing diagnostic medical imaging. The role may require working in other modalities with appropriate licensure and occasionally working at different locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or an equivalent program.
  • California CRT license.
  • MRAD: CA; RTR or RTMR; BLS-CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, operation and care of radiology equipment, and radiation safety.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • One year of MR/CT experience is preferred.
  • Six months experience in an outpatient environment is preferred.
  • Advanced certification in MR & CT through ARRT is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic practice management systems, and PACS is preferred.

**Pay Range**

$42.69 - $61.91 per hour
