Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking an MRI Tech Aide to join the Imaging MRI department in Weymouth, MA. This full-time, night-shift role supports the MRI Technologist with patient screening, positioning, and room setup on site.

Responsibilities include assisting patients, coordinating with the MRI team, and ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations. BLS certification and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completion required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follows MRI safety policies and screens patients before MRI examinations.
• Greets patients and assists with changing for the exam.
• Assists in positioning patients and moving them onto/off the MRI table.
• Transports patients and assists with discharge; stocks scan rooms.
