Shields Health Care Group is seeking a Technologist Aide to provide a professional, caring atmosphere to patients while supporting the technologists in a fast-paced medical setting at our Dartmouth, MA location. This 32-hour/week role requires strong safety awareness and the ability to assist with patient setup and exam preparation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
• Assist Technologist in setting up the room.
• Set up proper coil for exam.
• Ensure there is clean linen.
• Make available any items, which may assist the patients setup.
• Assist in the patient interview process.
• Safety check list.
• Explain procedure to patient.
• Reassure the patient if anxious.
• Assist technologist in setting the patient for exam.
• Aid the patient getting on table.
• Ensure all safety devices are in place.
• Help makes the patient comfortable.
• Assist technologist upon completion of exam.
