Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking a Materials Review Board Engineer to evaluate discrepant drive-system parts on the production floor and with suppliers.

You will disposition defects, plan repairs, and ensure MRB documents are followed, working with drive system design, stresses, and fatigue teams. The role requires coordinating with manufacturing, planning, and suppliers to drive corrective actions and ensure parts meet flight safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in dynamic component or drive system fabrication in aerospace/automotive.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of fabrication problems in aerospace manufacturing of metallic parts.
• Knowledge of Drive Systems design principles.
• Ability to read blueprints, material specs, process specs and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Dispositions non-conforming drive system components and approves repairs.
• Lead internal and external technical discussions on part conditions and repair capabilities.
• Review fabrication planning and provide repair dispositions for controlled items.
• Provide cross-functional support and design interpretation to manufacturing teams.
• Participate in root cause corrective action with suppliers to reduce defects.
