Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologist for a part-time position on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You will operate MRI scanners and provide patient-centered imaging services, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with safety protocols.

MRI Technologist (Part‑Time, Saturdays & Sundays 8:00 am–4:30 pm)

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide patient‑centered imaging services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Screen patients before exams, verify patient identity, and review precautions.
• Explain MRI procedures, obtain patient consent, and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI studies on designated body areas, ensuring image quality and patient comfort.
• Adjust scan parameters and follow physician orders while maintaining safety standards.
• Accurately record and report findings in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work area and keep equipment in good working order.
• Update and adhere to ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Assist with protocol manual updates, software upgrades, and inventory management.
• Support new team members through training and technical assistance.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registration in good standing (per state regulations).
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state (if required).
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated ability to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in an imaging specialty.
