Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, is seeking a Calibration Engineer based in the United States. You will calibrate, test, and troubleshoot advanced MR medical imaging systems during installation and upgrade activities, becoming a subject matter expert after training.

The role blends engineering, field service, and customer interaction in a healthcare setting. You’ll travel to customer sites across the U.S., primarily around Fort Wayne, IN, with up to 50% overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Alternative: high school diploma with 4+ years of service experience in electronics.
• Experience working with internal and external customers in a technical service role.
• Ability to diagnose complex equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work onsite at customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead MR calibration, testing, and troubleshooting on assigned systems.
• Serve as primary customer-facing contact during calibration.
• Coordinate with regional and national teams to develop corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration tools and documentation within timelines.
• Provide guidance to junior MR field engineers.
• Support field service calls and preventive maintenance when not scheduled.
