Job summary

Block Imaging is seeking a field service engineer to install, calibrate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States. You will diagnose and repair complex electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues while adhering to safety regulations and OEM specifications.

The role requires 3–7 years in medical imaging engineering, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving history; ability to pass background checks.
• Understanding of safety regulations and OEM specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality field service for medical imaging equipment across the U.S.
• Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging systems to OEM specs.
• Calibrate imaging systems and computer components to ensure performance.
• Represent Block Imaging professionally in all on-site interactions.
• Document processes and provide training to end users as needed.
• Coordinate with management and customers for project updates and feedback.
