Job summary

Opti Staffing partners with a global leader in precision manufacturing in Hillsboro, OR to hire a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler. This DIRECT HIRE role builds and maintains proactive maintenance plans to maximize uptime and performance.

You will lead daily/long-term schedules, coordinate work orders, manage spare parts, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and technicians to minimize downtime while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in manufacturing.
• Hands-on CMMS/EAM experience; Maximo preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP MES a plus).
• Strong ability to read technical docs and asset information.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate work orders, ensuring labor, materials and tools are accounted for.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and technicians to prioritize maintenance work.
• Adjust schedules in real time based on urgent needs.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement and vendor coordination.
• Lead planning meetings and analyze performance data.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed.
