Job summary

Freres Engineered Wood in Lyons, OR is seeking an MPP Press Operator to oversee layup, operate the MPP Press, and manage WIP inventory. You will load, set up, and monitor the glue station, run press loads at the dry stacker, and keep accurate logs while coordinating with the Plant Manager.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to work with cranes and hoists, and readiness to perform light maintenance. Typical day shift with some cross shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year in manufacturing or wood products; entry-level with training considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate MPP Press and layup processes.
• Manage WIP inventory and press loads.
• Set up and monitor glue station; perform monthly glue checks.
• Complete work orders and maintain logs and paperwork.
