Job summary

Freres Engineered Wood is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the plywood production team in a continuous manufacturing environment at Plant 3 in Mill City, OR. The role reports to the Plant Manager and involves day shifts with a goal of safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Current forklift certification; Mill experience with plywood/LVL a plus.
• 5+ yrs of experience supervising large crews (50+ employees).
• Proven leadership skills and ability to guide teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and math skills; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety, production, quality and cleanliness of the facility.
• Supervise and coordinate production efforts to drive improvements.
• Build employee commitment and accountability.
• Support Plant Manager with team development and cross-training.
• Inspect product quality and direct teams to maximize efficiency.
