Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace in Yorktown, NY is seeking a Mozzarella Clerk to join our Pasta & Mozzarella Department. You’ll handcraft fresh mozzarella, shape, and season batches with care, contributing to our house-made cheese and customer experience.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, good English communication, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a busy kitchen. High school diploma or equivalent is required, cheese-making experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Handcraft fresh mozzarella using quality curd and stretch to perfection.
• Record weights, batch sizes, and daily production details.
• Weigh, package, label, and keep displays stocked with mozzarella.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe workspace and assist with restocking.
• Share mozzarella-making know-how with customers when possible.
• Support kitchen duties as needed.
