Job summary

The Toro Company in Batesville, AR is seeking a Mower Assembler for 1st shift to perform manual labor on a production line, assembling mower components and moving parts along the line with hand tools.

You will work in a fast-paced environment emphasizing safety and quality, standing for long periods while reading instructions and applying Lean/5S practices.

Pay starts at $15.59/hour with scheduled increases to $17.42 at 6 months, $19.25 at 12 months, and $21.08 at 18 months.

Qualifications

• Assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift or carry materials of various weights and sizes.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly over a full work shift.
• Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Must be detail-oriented and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts for Mower Assembly line using hand tools and equipment.
• Progress parts down the assembly line and ensure safety and quality.
• Operate forklift and/or heavy equipment if certified (where applicable).
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area using Lean and 5S principles.
• Report safety incidents and any defective material to supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
