Job summary

The Toro Company in Windom, MN is hiring a 2nd Shift Assembly Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a high-volume manufacturing setting. You will assign tasks, monitor production, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

We seek a collaborative leader with a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years in manufacturing leadership, and strong communication skills. Bachelor’s degree is preferred; SAP/Kronos/Workday experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in operations manufacturing with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse teams.

Responsible for overseeing a range of critical functions, this position ensures strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.The role demands a leader who can effectively manage people and processes, driving team performance and business results through inspirational leadership and effective communication.**What Will You Do?*** Effectively manage daily work assignments and schedules to meet productivity and drive business results.* Monitor production activity, identify process issues, troubleshoot causes, and develop short- and long-term solutions as merited.* Work closely with site leadership and other supervisors to establish clear processes in alignment with business objectives.* Ensure adherence to TTC standards, procedures, policies, and government regulations, quality, and compliance.* Prioritize adherence to safety protocols encouraging a proactive mindset towards safety in daily operations and decision-making.* Communicate clear expectations, goals, and accomplishments to the team, tying efforts to TTC quality standards, safety protocols, and government regulations.* Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives by advocating for and implementing where merited the improvements with the team.* Promote a culture of trust and accountability by demonstrating honesty, integrity, clear communications and ethical behaviors.* Engage and support team members' development and collaboration toward common goals, while taking ownership of team performance to drive business success.* Other tasks and duties as assigned.**What Do You Need?*** High School Diploma or /GED equivalent required.
