Provides moving and logistical services at Augusta University. Working In conjunction with Environmental Services event support and warehousing operations under the Department of Environmental Services. Assist Moving Supervisor with day-to-day moving and logistics operations. Provides other support as needed.
High School diploma or GED from a recognized State or Federal accredited organization. A minimum of 1 year of work experience. General knowledge of Asset Management and Materials Management. Able to provide excellent customer service and achieve department and organization goals. Must have a valid driver's license. Able to drive large moving trucks, vans and pickup trucks. Skills needed for warehouse operations; able to use forklift, pallet jacks, carts ETD, furniture and equipment moving skills. Must be able to read and write legibly.
Materials management, warehouse and logistical experience Is beneficial.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Detail-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
